ANDREW HALL

At 28 years of age, Andrew, who turned pro at only 18, has already been a professional at Whickham GC in the North East having served his golfing apprenticeship at Otley and Ilkley Golf Clubs.

"I learned my trade under two excellent pros in Steve Tompkinson and the highly respected John Hammond" says Andrew. "I want to get the right balance between helping members, welcoming visitors, running the shop and playing golf. "

Andrew was a junior member at Otley from the age of 10 before becoming an assistant pro there at 18. He qualified for the last 12 of the Daily Telegraph Junior Championships from an initial field of over 22,000 entrants and also won the English Schools Championship at the Forest of Arden with Guiseley School, going on to the World Finals at Blairgowrie.

He has also had success while a pro at Whickham. Alongside the green keeper and two members, they won the John Deere Team Championship at the Belfry. This gave them qualification as the UK representatives in the finals held in Scottsdale, Arizona.

A young, ambitious man, Andrew has a lot to offer members and visitors alike and assures everyone visiting The Bradford Golf Club of a very warm welcome.
